Rooms in the villa Frühling
In 1874 a villa was built for the palace architect Carl Frühling as a representative residential building directly below the palace. In the spacious rooms of the former architect’s villa, we have furnished a total of ten double rooms individually and invitingly for our guests at the Schlossberg Hotel.
Three rooms are on the ground floor, where the breakfast salon is also located. Seven other rooms, including the two suites, are on the first floor of the house. The hotel’s own parking lot for our guests is located directly in front of the villa.
Superior rooms
Of the six individually furnished superior double rooms in Villa Frühling, three are on the ground floor and three on the first floor. All superior rooms offer unique views of the old town of Wernigerode, the Harz mountains and the Brocken or the footpath up to the castle. Further details…
Suites
Our two suites have a comfortable room size of approx. 32 m² and are located on the first floor of Villa Frühling. From here you can enjoy a fabulous view of the Harz with the Brocken or over the old town of Wernigerode. Large windows and the stylish furnishings in warm colors create a pleasant living atmosphere. Rooms in the house of the valets
The house of the valets was built around the middle of the 18th century and also belongs to the ensemble of the Schlossberg Hotel. Like the villa Frühling, its history is closely linked to Wernigerode Castle. Because this is where the servants of the counts and princes residing in the castle once lived.
Today, in the half-timbered house typical of the Harz region, you can expect six cozy comfort double rooms on two floors with a beautiful view and sophisticated furnishings.
The house of the valets is directly opposite Villa Frühling, so that the breakfast terrace and the forest garden are only a few steps away.
Comfort rooms
Our six double rooms in the house of the valets have their own bathroom with shower or tub and are 20-24 m² in size. The double beds are equipped with single mattresses and are 1.6m x 2m or 1.8m x 2m in size. Further details…
